Lacey Rose has what you would assume to be the perfect life. Her family was the ideal nuclear family, her mother and father happily married with two beautiful children, Lacey and her little brother. Their family life was seemingly perfect too; sure there would be the odd arguments but all in all Lacey’s family were great, tight knit and extremely loving people in general. This was probably where Lacey got her friendly and caring nature from. Following after her parents, she would try her best to befriend everyone and help anyone that needed it.

This great trait that she had received from her parents, however, only caused the young girl pain in the long run. People would notice her kind and caring nature and befriend her for their use and purposes that did not have anything to do with actually wanting to be her friend. And the friends that she did actually consider close would constantly take her for granted. Everyone knew that if they blew Lacey off, then she wouldn’t speak up about it. She was too kind to even think a bad word about it, let alone speak up and tell them that it wasn’t fair, what they were doing.

A few years back Lacey fell in love so quickly and so completely, with a guy that didn’t share her feelings. They had been close, and he seemed to actually care about her and although he did take her love and care for granted, it didn’t come across that way to the naïve girl. She confessed to him how much she loved him and this freaked him out completely. He told her his feelings that were nowhere near the same as hers. He simply saw her as a friend, and hardly even a close one. The girl was heartbroken and couldn’t understand why he didn’t feel the same way about her. Since then, she’s been convinced that no guy will ever be able to love her. 

✖Relationships

• Riley Murphy is a fairly good friend of Lacey’s. The two have known each other since they were little as their parents were mutual friends.
• Jake Mawer is someone that Lacey’s seemed to have a few good conversations with before they ended up on this trip Riley had arranged.
• Caleb Marshall is the funny guy that Lacey always manages to laugh at. He seems friendly, although they haven’t spoken and she likes that.
